Tied Together

It's raining right now in Provo and I really couldn't be any happier. I love bundling up for anything but snow. I look at half my wardrobe and can't wait to pull out the sweaters, tights, and chunky dresses. Right now the rain is especially glorious because it's Sunday and we both got to sleep in before we head to church.
We, along with half of Utah showed up at Krispy Kremes for free donuts on Friday. I'm not going to admit how many I've eaten or how long it took to finish them…it's the weekend right? I asked Caleb if we would have ever worked out if I was really healthy and didn't indulge like we do and he said,"definitely not." We are a couple tied together through our love of food, and other things of course.

Zions

Taking a day or two away from school, work, and just life are sometimes completely justified. Although school has only been in session for about 2 weeks, we couldn't resist going to our friends ranch just outside of Zion's National park. With four other couples, we slept under the stars, ate some yummy food, and got to hike the Narrows before Caleb and I had to leave early for a church meeting.

For anyone looking for a "hike" that has no incline, heat, or aspect of exercise (basically if you're like me) the Narrows is the perfect place.

Summer Wrap Up

These last few weeks have been a total whirlwind and filled with family. I feel like we saved up all the family-energy we had in our bodies and blasted it in 2 weeks. I'm dead. But so happy! Emma and Zack got married in Manti (YAY to new in-laws!) and then we started the fam vacations. First we were in Park City with mine and then the Oregon coast with Caleb's. Holler to going shopping with your momma(s).
The best part of being with family is slipping back into those roles and places you felt as a kid. My older sister is the laugh-factory, my older brother is sweet and quotes movie lines, and my younger sister sits quietly and laughs but comes around with the sassiest comments. I love it.
We are already back at school and I'm starting to look at these photos with some serious self-envy (is that a thing?). I wish I could jump back into some of these photos and enjoy the last bits of summer all over again.

Moments like these make me want to be a "wedding person". Cute to the 300x. I can become a wedding photographer like every other college-married woman in Provo right?
